Fleetwood Power Gear Slide out stuck extended

A buddy of mine recently bought a 2004 Fleetwood Southwind 32V. Dealer service everything and slide-outs worked fine. Today here extended the 2 slide and all went well. When he retracted them, only the bedroom slide came in and the dinette/couch slide didn't make ay noise or move. He said he heard a click when the slide in question reached full extension. He called the dealer and they gave him instructions on how to manually retract that slide.
Remove power and unplug motor
Flip brake switch down
Use 3/4" wrench and crank in slide
Flip brake switch back up

My buddy wants me to giver him a hand. He said the batteries are fully charged and he sees no binding. Should we try and give it a push? Any suggestions? I'm mechanical in nature but I have a Forest River with Lippert and Schwintek slides and not familiar with Power Gear.

    If it's like a 2005 Fleetwood Excursion or Discovery, there could be several fuses - I would guess a fuse since nothing at all is happening. We had a fuse blow two years ago for some unknown reason and we've never blown another one.

    My big slide Power Gear motor wore off a few teeth and got to the point where it would bind up, and eventually blew the slide fuse.

    I spent an hour or so looking under the hood for the slide fuse box, it was not marked. After replacing the fuse, it still would not pull the slide in, so I disconnected the drive shafts from the motor, and had some help pushing the slide in and locked it in place with the travel bars.

    I had a friend dis-assemble the gear box, and I tried to have a new sprocket made, but found no one local that had the capability. Eventually bought a new Power Gear motor-gearbox ($650) and installed it.

    Now I have a spare motor and gear box that only needs one sprocket to make it complete.

    Just for the heck of it, use the Chassis Master Battery disconnect switch and disconnect the batteries for about 10-15 sec. this will reset the controller in case it's thrown an error code. I know my power gear slide system will do this once in a while and that's all I have to do to get the system functioning again.

    My Powergear slide (2001) (system) has 3 fuses. A main fuse...a "out" fuse and an "in" fuse.
    For some strange reason, all 3 fuses are 30 AMP. My "out" fuse went bad. Maybe the OPs "in" fuse is the problem.

    The "in" and "out" fuses were NOT mentioned in either the owners' manual or the schematics. It was one of the infamous "production line change" things.

    Will check power to motor. But he said he heard a click. Is there a relay or fuse to easily check? Found online there could be relays near battery compartment, power panel with fuses and maybe a relay by the motor?
    Said low battery voltage, motor about to go bad and binding of slide will cause relay or fuse to trip.

    Its 2 wire Plug,so one of you get under with Test Light and see if its getting power when switch is activated that would be the first thing I did

    He does have the engine running when moving the slides in and out. Shoreline power has been connected for days. He says no sound when activating slide switch to retract driver's side slide.

    I had to replace my power gear motor on my couch/Booth slide of my 05 Pace Arrow last spring easy job todo really. My motor broke some teeth on a gear so It would move a little at a time and make a bunch of noise when it got to the missing teeth. The motor will be in the middle with square tubes running from the motor to the gears that move the slide It will move fairly easy and once you r release the brake you can help push it in I did on mine, then set the brake to hold it there.
