Understand your frustration, to a point. Newmar has an excellent reputation for putting out a quality product and that's what you are expecting. Realistically, you purchased an entry level Newmar and it has been 8 years. I really don't think you can expect more than that. That being said you will see many posts on the Newmar Foram of people replacing recliners on top of the line Newmars. Newmar makes a very good product in this day of slamming out MH's at the lowest price point. Doesn't mean there are not places to be improved.
