I am getting ready to replace the carpet and linoleum in my MH. I am leaning towards wood, but, I thought I'd check here to see what others have done and if you're happy with your choice.
Did you use wood or laminate and if you were doing it again would you use the same material? Why or why not?
Did you install it length wise or side to side and if so did you install at an angle other than 90*
I believe I've seen wood installed at a 30* or 45* angle.
Did you cover the floor in your slide or leave it carpeted?
Glue/nail or floating?
I know there are several questions here, but, I would appreciate your input.
Thanks
wood is best but the hardest to lay PLUS wood may too thick for your side to come in and stands chance to scratch. There are high quality grade laminates out there that are made in Random lengths and when laid look like real hardwood same grooves and all.Not like that 4ftX7.5 inch 12MM u see most use.Doing the slide looks much better fr sure I did my slide in 3/4 brazilian cheery wood but pretty pricy.DONTbuy cheap laminate whatever buy the better grades.always lay it north to south looks much better(never side to side)
