Floresent overhead lights

FYI I just did the LED conversion described in ronfisherman post, I did 3 lights , total of replacing 6 fluorescent tubes, for about $35. When the remaining bulbs burn out I am going to do total LED replacement. It was very easy and took me about 1 hour to replace fluorescent tube with LED's.

The fluorescent bulbs in your RV are not special, they are available at most hardware stores. I use the T-8 15" in cool white from HD.

Lowes or Home Depot will have the bulbs that you need.

There is a good thread on another forum on replacing your florescent bulbs with LED strips. Problem solved.

Check your nearest Lowe's Store I've seen the thin lights there last time that I was in, but can't remember the lengths that they came in!

I would guess that all sizes are still being made, just check many suppliers.

I would be replacing the tubes and starters with LED strips. They are not cheap but one and done, you should not have to think about them for the life of the coach AND you save battery when dry camping.
