FMCA Memebership ?

I'm in the process of buying my first, new to me, motorhome. A 2003 Damon Challenger.

In looking for insurance and trying to educate myself about motorhomes's I found the Family Motor Coach Association.

I'm wondering if people have any recommendations one way or the other as far as membership and weather it's worth it to pay to join.

I am interested in getting an insurance quote but hate to pay $50 just for that unless it's going to save me $$$.

  • X2 on the magazine. Also need to be a member to belong to most manufacturers clubs(or whatever) purchase tires through michelin advantage program. FMCA rallies are great. Recommend get a magazine and look at what it offers and make up your own mind. I think you will join.

  • We are members of FMCA and Good Sam both. Received quote from FMCA in Mar and they were higher than my existing policy. Recommend checking Victoria Insurance. "Mac The Fire Guy" is sponsored by them. Have been with them 3 years and get a better price than both FMCA or GMAC (Good Sam). Good luck.
