I have a 2004 Tiffin Phaeton with the dual pane windows and sure enough I noticed yesterday the drivers window must have busted a seal because it is now fogged up and difficult to see out of. What are your suggestions on a place in the southeast (I am in Alabama)for me to be able to take it to for fixing or do you have any other suggestions ?I am sure others have had to deal with this and it is frustrating and almost makes me not want to have dual pane windows on a vehicle that goes up and down the road experiencing an 8.0 on the richter scale every time it is cranked up because more windows are likely soon to fog.

RV Fog Doctor in Searcy, AR or Suncoast Design in Hudson, FL.... whichever is closer to you. We have appointment with RV Fog Doctor in June to get 4 fogged windows repaired.

Argh its so frustrating having to look at a dang fogged up window...

I've got an appointment with Suncoast in Hudson, FL in june. You can stay at their hookup and they will do it on site.

Suncoast Design is great. They eventually did all our windows. Great customer service.

About what does the cost run to repair a foggy window? I know it will probably depend on the size of the window, but sort of an average cost. I have one small crank out window that started sweating on the inside and was quoted $600 by the RV factory to replace the window so I drilled a couple of very small holes in the seal between the plates and sprayed canned air (like used to clean computers) into one hole so it exited out the other hole which got the space cleared up but I know I need to get it fixed.

Dave Roots drove 2 different times from Bend to Portland. He has resealed all of my windows plus I never had to leave my drive way.

Auto glass boss Mesa AZ. Friend of mine just had too windows done. $180 a window and the came to him.

Anybody on the West Coast can try Dave Root out of Bend, Oregon. He will travel to your location and does a great job. We had 5 windows done last November - he drove down to San Jose, Ca and met me at our storage lot right at 8:00 am when the lot opened. He was done by 3:00 pm and on his way home. Charge was right around $300 per window total!

Just there in Feburary and had 11 windows repaired. $275 for drivers window $225 for the rest and a 10 year warranty (not lifetime). As others have said thee have water and elect. hookups with a sewer dump on site. They cover the openings with plastic covered cardboard so your ok even if it rains. You see all brands of RV's there and they do a good job.

I have a 2005 Bounder with several fogged side windows. I'm in TN and having a hard time finding a place that repairs them. Any suggestions?

I had three windows done at a place in Pahrump, Nevada. Not only did they scratch the paint around the windows pretty badly, the windows fogged up within two years because they used silicone to seal them. I just had all my windows done at RV Fog Doctor in Searcy, Arkansas and they did a great job for less money per window than the shop in Pahrump. Wish I went to them first!

Unless they have changed, Suncoast also offered a lifetime warranty on their window repairs as well. They have hook-ups for about 20 coaches and the shop is close to various restaurants in the area. All things considered, they offer a pretty good solution to a common problem.

That is where I had 4 of mine done this winter. They do good work.

It's also only about an hour away from Clearwater Beach and Dunedin. Those are a much more enjoyable way to spend the day while repairs are being done than a waiting room.
