Done the searches and found much good info. What I have not found is driver side window repair tips. My side window is so bad that it is not safe to drive due to impaired vision for the mirror and viewing on-coming traffic. My thought was to pull the duel paine and go back with a single. My concern is the slider window which is 7/16 wide and uses the seal to slide on in the window channel. Has anyone tried to go back to a single slider and if so how did you make it work. This is a Segi window on a National rv. The entire unit is divided into three windows. I think I can get back to singles for the other two but the keeping the slider is a problem. It was one of four replacement windows that have fogged. Driving to a repair shop is not an option and the nearest mobile repair is 5 hours away.

Contact your insurance to repair/replace the fogged windows, as they are a safety concern.

An option is to remove the window and send it to one of the repair places. I know the place in Hudson, Fl will do a repair if you send to them.

I just got done helping a friend with his fogged windo. It is on an AlfaSee Ya 40 ft M/H. We took the window out took it apart cleaned the glass and replaced the seal between the glass. All together it wasn't to bad of a project. Just time consuming and exasperating trying to get the glass back in the rubber seals and into the frame. The window is very heavy and needs 2 people to remove and replace.It took us old guys about 8 hours from start to finish. That included the 3 hours for the fill glue to dry. You can do it if you have some help.We order the window kit from Dave Root in Oregon. It will have all the stuff you need. You can get the urethane glue at a auto glass shop and order the seal from amazon. Lots cheaper.Busyguy

Here's another thumbs up for Dave Root - he took care of 5 windows on our coach last month. Drove down from Oregon to San Jose, Ca and was at our storage yard promptly at 8am when the gate was opened, and was heading home by 3pm. The windows look great and he gives a 3 year warranty on the work.

Beware Of suncoast designers.THey will and have used raw glass in coaches.Look for safety markings on both pieces of glass.Very dangerous and life threatening practice

One thing I like about Suncoast Designers in Hudson, FL is that they do not put a vacuum between the two panes of glass, but rather put in an inert gas. This eliminates the pressure on the seals so, in my opinion, gives a more durable repair with less likelihood of the window fogging again.

Just had some windows done by Dave Root a couple of weeks ago. He was kind enough to drive from Bend to Portland to do the work. Nice guy, does excellent work and stands behind it.
