- 96Bounder30EExplorer III did mine with about 1/2 tank (30+ gallons) .....a floor jack and a bunch of 1x short wood pieces make excellent cribbing.........
If you have access to 2 floor jacks......then go that route.......build up some cribbing on both ends of the tank and then lower it down a couple of inches at a time.......
I've done 2 tanks now and I'm all done in less than 2 hours...... - TrackrigExplorer IIThe fuel is going to weight over 7# per gallon. 50 gallons will be another 350+ pounds. And if you accidently tip the tank you're going to have a very large mess and a dangerous situation with spilled gas.
I'd figure out how to drain as much as possible.
