Ford V10 engine
Looking to purchase around a 36 ft class a motorhome to go full timing and wondering how the ford V10 is holding up. Will be towing a vehicle with it also. Please give good and bad points.

Ford makes a fine engine, just like many other suppliers. As you read this forum, you find that there are very very few engine problems with our coaches. One thing that you will find out, if you read these posts, is that just because it is a Ford engine/chassis, that DOES NOT mean that every Ford dealer will work on them, if you have a problem while on the road. There have been several instances posted on this forum where some of the smaller Ford dealers will not touch a motor home, whether for warranty work or emergency repairs. The same goes for the GM engine. Getting any work done on a motor home has less to do with the manufacturer and more to do with the capability of the service center.
