my 2005 chassis (ford) has the 4R100 transmission

Does moving the shift lever into "1" or "2" change anything?

4th gear is the default gear, sure it's in 1st?

If you lose one solenoid, it'll still have two gears. It never shifts at all, right?

Reverse work?
