fresh water sensors

I have a 2003 r-vision trail lite b+ and the fresh water level monitor stopped working. Suspect bad connection between the monitor and the sensors on the tank. I can see the tank by looking in the low point drain access but cant see any sensors. Does any one know where the sensors on the fresh water tank are located? I have switched wires on the monitor between switch positions to insure the monitor is working correctly. all indications is bad wire or connection between sensor and monitor

Never heard that advice for the fresh water tank.
  • Here's a guy who solved the problem.

  • Usually the sensors are inside the tank and crud builds up on them and renders them useless. There are ways to free them that you can try, usually with dubious results. Put a few bags of ice cubes in the tank, fill it up with water, drive around for a while, then drain and see if that helps. There are also sensor strips that go on the outside of the tank and aren't affected by the crud.
BTW your rig is a class C not a B.
