I thought about a truck camper myself. For one with a good amount of room, you would need to go with a long bed DRW one ton, and at least a 1-2 slide model. However, there are some decent ones out there, especially the triple slides. Only downside is that the onboard propane generator does guzzle LP gas, so for a long boondocking trip, it would take at least one 2000 watt Honda generators, possibly two, as well as the gasoline containers (RotoPax containers are useful here.)
