This is a very interesting topic to me. We put our PW Excel up for sale and will be looking for a new RV to replace it. We have never owned another RV but have traveled all over the US and Canada in our Pleasure Way. We are considering a PW Pursuit, a Class B+. It will certainly be more comfortable to stay in but we will give up a lot by "upsizing". We will no longer be able to park easily in cities and towns and will probably rent a car if we are in an urban area for a while. No more hotels for us, The Excel is about as big as you can practically use for a hotel stay. We really like the idea of a nice shower in the Pursuit, that is a big plus over a true Class B. We will also look at the PW Lexor since PW is no longer building the Excel.
A few years ago, I was in a parking lot in Billings, MT and a lady came up to me and said they had upsized to a B+, Leisure Travel, I think, after owning 2 Excels and regretted it. She said that the Excel is the way to go.
