From Mass to Cali and back
Anyone ever make this trip? I am going to do it in the summer of 2016. That gives me a little over a year to plan it. Looking for tips, best routs, stuff to see, places to stop and general advise. ...

Thanks for all of the advice. It sounds like cali might be too far for our 3 week trip. Wherever we go I don't want to do repeated days of driving over 10 hours. A few 10 hour days for the entire trip are ok but not 21 of them.
Maybe we will just head west for 10 days and see where we end up. Then we can head back. I don't want to do anything east of the Mississippi. We've seen and done that a bunch of times.
We were supposed to go to Europe in 2016 but now that we are paying all this money to upgrade our MH we are rethinking the trip to Europe. So that is why we started to think about going cross country. If I don't think I am going to see anything except for a highway, the trip to Europe will be back on.
