Fron Generator Slide

I have a 2011 Monaco Knight 40 PDQ. The front generator slide is out about a quarter inch further than normal The latches are operating normally but when hitting bumps while traveling I am getting a clunking sound. Is there an adjustment to bring the slide a bit further in? The fiberglass face is ok Thank You, Chris S
