Fuel selector valve

Question

I need a need Fuel selector valve do to mine is leaking. Mine says its a model 121 listed 919y safety valve. Max temp Ambient 170f fluid 170f 12vdc 1.0a max 312psi.the only differents is the the temp and the amps what do you think will it work? I found this one on ebay saying this I HAVE A LARGE QUANTITY OF THESE VALVES. THEY HAVE A UL INSIGNIA ON THEM. THEY ARE A NORMALLY CLOSED VALVE. THE STICKER SAYS 12 VDC 1.5 AMP MAX. 312 PSI MAX.

I installed the new Fuel selector valve and I know it say 170f on it but really I didn't think they got that hot? After I installed it I want back to check for leaks and man that thing was hot to the touch. Why do they get hot?
