I'm one of those that rarely uses Flying J, Pilot or other truck stops. For me, they are usually .05 - .08 more expensive, and I almost always get a guy in front of me that deicdes to do his shopping.
We had our 36' DP, towing a truck for 9 years and now have our 40' DP towing a 4 door Chevrolet Silverado. I know what my RV can do and primarilly use regular fuel stations.
In this day and age, a lot of your modern fuel stations have large islands and farely easy access. On occasion, I'll drive by a fuel stop and see that I won't be able to negotiate the turns and just pass by and go to the next one.
The GasBuddy APP has photos of most of the stations and you can actually see if it's an old station with narrow lanes or a new modern station.
My favorite spots throughout the country for fueling are Indian Casinos. Best price and huge islands.
