How often should you run an Onan 7.5KW we usually don't have a regular usage of ours we only have 44 hours in 13 years. we have 50 amp service here at the house and normally use the camp ground hookup...

We run our generator once per month for two hours with a fifty percent load. As other posters have already conveyed, it exercises the unit and prevents excess moisture from developing in and on the windings. We've found this to be very beneficial. It starts right up each time.
