Generator problem

I have a 2007 Winnebago voyage with Onan Marquis Gold 5500 generator. when driving gen. runs for 5 minutes then shuts off, I wait 5 minutes and start it again and it runs for 5 minutes again . Any ideas of what might be wrong would be greatly appreciated.

    Just worked through the same issue on my '07 Terra with the Onan 5500 - after a couple of tries with Sea Foam, replacing the fuel pump and filter did the trick. Good luck!

    FUEL PUMP FUEL PUMP FUEL PUMP amazon------- fuel pump AIRTEX E11015 same as Onan only 45.00 not 122.00 had it delivered to my house in two days. 2006 southwind with Onan 5500.

    Might check oil level. They have an automatic shut off if oil is low.

    Just had the same issue. New fuel pump solved it. I replaced the filters and hose while I was at it.

    I have that same problem with mine. changed fuel filter didn't help/ stuck hose in gas can and it ran. Sepect that I have something wrong with fuel line from tank. Checking that out as of now. Nothing found out yet.

    Sounds like a fuel issue. I agree with Ranger.
