It is not a no-start situation. It starts and actually runs pretty good,
as long as you keep the starter button depressed. The instant you take your finger off the starter button it shuts down.
However, thanks for the heads-up about the need to have the gas tank partially full, it makes good sense when you think about it. You don't want to run out of gas out in the boonies running your generator.
