IF he just bought from CW he has a year of GS towing. Coach net knows this and they consider GS the primary towing company. Somewhere in Coachnet contract it may be spelled out that if you have dual insurance they are not responsible and to call(in this case GS) your primary towing coverage. Coach net doesn't want to pay for a tow they assume/know is covered by someone else.
Bingo!
Only explanation that makes sense. Other types of insurance have coverage like this. They pay ONLY if there is no other insurance payment.
It does make sense, but one would think that when they set up the coachnet on the new coach, it would have come up then. Was there a presumption made that the old coachnet coverage would transfer to the new one? I think you have to provide make and model info - although I have never been asked where I bought my MH. And why would it take so long for the GS coverage to kick in? That should be immediate. Shame, 2 coverages and neither one comes to the rescue. How's that for bad timing? I get why CN would not cover in a dual coverage situation but that should not come up AFTER you sign up and pay for it. Technically the GS has not kicked in yet and he still paid for CN so there is not currently dual coverage til GS kicks in - hence there could be an argument made that he was denied coverage in error. Now once GS kicks in, coachnet goes away and I would ask for my premium back. But until GS kicks in the CN coverage should be good as it's the only one.
