I've discovered that you never really know what any insurance company will cover until you have a claim.
Had an inside dual tire blow out last year. Destroyed all my coach wiring.
Called my insurance company, CSAA, and a month and $12,000 later got my coach back. All it cost me was the $100 deductible.
I am watching this thread though to see what happens.
This is not insurance, this is road side assistance.
This may be the KEY to all this. There may be a big difference between Roadside assistance(blown tire and needing a tire) and a Blown tire that has incapacitated the RV and REQUIRES a tow to a Body shop type facility to get fixed. THAT may be put back on the Regular RV INSURANCE for getting towed and to a repair facility. I wonder how an Auto would be treated----You have a blow out and need the Car towed because it cannot have just the tire fixed, because the damage will not allow the Car to be safely driven. WHO is responsible? The Roadside Assistance company or the Auto Insurance company? I would think the Auto Insurance company would be responsible and the Road side assistance would decline because it is DAMAGE that requires a Tow. Doug
