If there is a primary provider; i.e. the seller or the manufacturer, Coach-Net is going to deny service. My new Ford came with 3 years of towing from Ford. Why would I pay my insurance carrier for a towing rider when the manufacturer is providing it? You must understand what you are buying and what it covers and what your manufacturer/retailer provides and make your decision for coverage based on those parameters. To use health insurance as an example. If I am covered through my employer's insurer (primary) and my wife's insurer (secondary), the secondary is going to do nothing until the primary has provided and paid for service or denied service before they pay a dime This is what is happening with Coach-Net in this instance. If you want to have Coach-Net cover you no matter what I am sure this is a possibility but you will pay extra for it. Now let's discuss the transfer requirement and primary/secondary coverage clause as stated in the C-N contract. What exactly does the contract require of the RV owner concerning transfer of coverage? My guess is that it is not automatic. What is the primary/secondary coverage clause? It will all be stated in the contract. Do not just get angry and blame the provider unless you have completely read the contract.
