How many miles a year and would hope for at least 25K to warrant the diesel's extra cost. As for roominess, check out a 2013 Newmar 3953, as one of their 40ft gas pullers with four slideouts and 1 1/2 baths. Not much need to worry about being king of the hill and some of the other riding comforts of a DP, if you're going to be sitting still most of the time.
