Grayton Beach State park

Question

Has anyone stayed at Grayton Beach State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, Fl. I was wondering how far the beach is from the new campground section?

I was planning on taking my dingy but still havent finished with the bracket hookup and the lights, so not taking a car this time and haven't been to this park yet!

It is probably a 3-4 block walk from campground to beach. A pleasant walk.

We love GBSP!We ride bikes from the CG to the beach and I set up my pier cart to carry the cooler, umbrella, towels, etc.Going back this summer!

Avoid it in the middle of Summer or else hide out in your rig from 0900 to 1730.  That place is hot.Tom

As the crow flies, the beach is about 600 yards from bathhouse to bathhouse.  We will be there for a week in July.  Just a wee bit further by road.
