Great visit to Advanced RV in Ohio !
We were lucky enough to visit Cleveland during the NBA finals (you know, Lebron and the few last men standing, against this year's powerhouse Warriors). A place of great excitement, and optimism. After we visited my Mother-in-law in Willoughby, we drove less than a mile to a beautifully manicured business park, where I knew Advanced RV was located. We had met Mike and Marcia at the Class B Rally in May, and hoped to visit their business next time we went back to Willowick, town where my wife grew up.
Our luck was high, Mike was in, extremely gracious about our drop-in, and he gave us a tour. Extremely impressive! Beautiful work shop, garage, offices, everything. I wish we could keep just our living room that orderly. I would have eaten off of any surface in the whole place! Anyway, this set-up just made me proud of American business, and hats off to Mike and Company. We saw several Mercedes vehicles in various states of conversion, some very cool features, some specialty requests being fulfilled, and got a good sense of how Class B RV conversions come together from the start. The work shop had premium materials, equipment, and layout. This was a place of true innovation and professionalism, and all in a suburb of Cleveland. I just really care for American business craftsmenship (hey, I like Canadian too, I drive a Brampton Challenger). And Advanced RV's set up in Willoughby blew us away. Our 22 year old son is not into RV's but came away quite impressed as well.
If anyone enjoys great business set ups like we do, and gets a chance to visit Advanced RV during an open house or similar, take the opportunity! We're running a 19 year old Class B while putting the kids through college, but the state of the art modern Class B's sure are making the retirement years and luxury travel look good to us! We are definitely going to have Advanced RV high on our consideration list as we save in our RV fund. I know some of you have been discussing the latest premium Class B models for a while, but this is all fairly new to us, and as newbies, the technology is extremely impressive!
