You can run some bleach through your entire system to sanitize the system. Just pour some into your hose and then allow it to flow into your coach.
Whenever I want to use ANY water source, I always run some water through the hose first to see that it is clear BEFORE I hook up the hose to my coach. Then I use a filter right at my input to filter the water as it comes in to my water tank.
Some baking soda can be used to remove any odor or taste from the chlorine treatment.
