Hi Paul and Welcome. When you are ready, provide the forum with the current condition of your RV and your ideas about restoration. That will help us, help you. I don't know about your RV knowledge base, so be patient if some of the info. that follows is repetitive or old news.
Check your tires. No matter how good the tread looks, RV tires should be replaced about every 6 years because they deteriorate from UV radiation and other issues. Look for the date codes on the tires. While looking, check the side walls for evidence of cracking. Again, replace if cracking is found. Change the oil in the generator, and perhaps the spark plug and air filter. Run the genset about 2 hours per month with an electric load, like the AC. Sanitize the fresh water tank. RVs don't like to sit around, so try to drive it at least once per month, to the mall if necessary. Replace all fluids, tranny, brakes, antifreeze, engine oil etc., unless you have written evidence that they have been changed out in the last year. Consider changing belts and hoses as well.
