HELP!! RVs are high (in height)!!

i don't know the procedure, but I believe you can just dump the air and it will. I'll ask him since I won't be able to play with mine for another week.

I would appreciate that. One person told me that you hold the dump button and it dumps faster than it fills. So you have to hold it the whole time you are parking and then when you start it and back out. If there is a less mistake prone way, I would appreciate knowing it.

ya Jeff the way I do that is dump the air on the panel and at the same time I pump the break pedal to get both air gauge's below 60 pounds once the Gauge's are equal and the engine is running the air will begin coming up as soon as the low air buzzer stops which is right after 60# I can shift into gear and move the truck in or out. I have about 5 minutes to do that before the gauge's are up to about 100# and the truck starts lifting.

Tell your friend I really appreciate the info. That is the best specific answer I have gotten. Did he mention how much height do you lose that way?

He says at least 6", but said he would check tomorrow for sure since they are heading out of the carport getting ready for a trip.

Journey and Meridian that the OP is looking at have basement air. That's why it's lower than the rest

Just found a review of a 2003 Rexhall. With AC units, they are 11'6". I'm not sure what years they went taller, but I think it was when they went to the full wall slides.

Not good at all for tires to sit flat. May come unbeaded then you have troubles.

Once its clear of the entrance door, can you re-inflate the tires for long term storage? Just remember to repeat the process before you back out!
