help with dust cover on 03 ford 350 (swd) not 4X4

Never seen a dust cap like this. It is recessed in to far to get screw driver in it and work loose. "Googling" it up some people have results with putting a hose clamp around it and turning with pliers. No such luck for me.

Is there some type of tool or what do you use??? Never seen one like this.

I'm checking the bearings and don't want to drill hole in cap to get off if possible. Don't want filings in with bearings.
