Once again, folks, this is an awesome forum. I appreciate the thoughts, opinions, and advice as I work my way through this. Recently spoke with another forum member here who recently did the same engine replacement in his Holiday Rambler of the same year, 1992. His came out the front after removing a few panels, grills, and bumper that hid the radiator support panel and other assemblies. Went back in the same way and he was able to replace everything with new and also a new 5 core radiator as well. He's sending pictures of his front end to compare. Will keep everyone posted with the results.
Found an engine rebuilder in Grand Rapids that will completely redo my motor (with rv cam) for $1790 + tax. This includes a 3 year, 36,000 mile warranty. Still thinking about that, as it would remain an old Gen. V 454 design, rebuilt with 2013 parts and advancements. Anyone know anything about Austin-Jordan engines?
+1 on the ozone machine.
