We have an 05 Atlantis. We absolutely love it. The overall quality of the RV is excellent. When we had the floor replaced under the slide, the people who did it mentioned that it is a frame on construction, much more solid than new RV’s. Things to look at are: soft spots around the slide, rust in and around the battery box and on the propane tank. I used a wire brush on the underside of the propane tank and then sprayed Eastwood Rust Encapsulator on it. Check what amperage it takes, ours is 30 amps. , should be the same. Make sure the refrigerator cools. The V10 is an awesome engine that will easily make 300k miles IF it’s been serviced regularly. Big issue with the V10 is spark plugs. They should be replaced every 50k miles to prevent them from seizing into the heads. Also check seals on roof vents. The roof is a two piece metal with one seam at the peak. Very unlikely to leak We did have a very small (a few drops) on our powered vent. Tank sensors may not be accurate, that’s really not a big deal. Get the fresh water tank filled and run the water in all locations to check for leaks.
