which batterys? engine or house or all?? how did u find them dead?
chassis battyery,s are usually not charged through the converter
need a little more info to give educated opinion
note don't leave SP on when running the generator or the enginealso on a side

WHY???? There is nothing wrong with doing that. That is why they have Transfer switches. The Chassis system will not cause any problem also. If you think so, then explain why you think so. Doug
