I have enjoyed following this thread. It sort of answers a basic question often in my mind: How many days will be lost if we have a flat? It would appear from responses that I would be on the road with only a day lost, if I am sort of lucky (but then how lucky could I be if I just had a flat?)
As for changing the tire myself, as mentioned by some: My twin grandboys weight about 35lbs. I can pick up one, picking up both is possible by problematic. And they come with handles that hold on tight! I truly do not believe I could remove and replace a 22.5 tire, I don't think I could replace a 19.5 tire without hurting myself, and to be honest, I could change the tire on the toad, but my back and knees would remind me of my efforts for days.
Thus, I will call Good Sam (my current ERS), flip on the generator, make a pot of coffee, and read a book while I await a service person.
