Hey Stabbin....I replaced my IV also with the V. All the hook ups, hose conns amd mounts are the same,(on mine) I had no trouble. There are 2 sizes though, watch if you need/want/can use the taller one. I had to stick with the lower one, because of a cabinet mounted on the wall behind it.
As for the foot flush, I went with what I had (turn handle), because the foot peddle would not fit with my toilet, as it is mounted on a raised shelf. I would prefer the foot peddle, if it fits, I'd go for it.
Everything you need to install the toilet comes with it, however I extended my water inlet hose for easier access.
