"Unfinished" isn't a commonly used term ... incomplete or cut-away refers to a chassis sold by Dodge without a body (or most of the body) to manufacturers who then used it as the basis for delivery trucks, motorhomes, and so forth. What the original owner bought was a complete motorhome, built by Dodge and the motorhome manufacturer.
When I worked at a parts counter, whenever one of the other counter people couldn't "find" a VIN, they'd point the customer to me, especially if the customer mentioned "motorhome."
I had one regular customer who'd drive 120 miles one way just to talk with me. (I worked Friday through Sunday and the second time he showed up was on a Thursday ... the boss offered to telephone me or call me in but the customer decided to camp out until Friday.)
