I grew up in the 60s too. And some of us kept our refers in the reefer too. Or, maybe that was mushrooms, its a little vague...
Actually, I grew up around boats where reefer was a common term. Note that the nautical term is "reefer" but most RVers use "refer."
Are we all confused now?
