Drag link for '78 and '79 CB300 is different. So, get the chassis VIN to verify chassis year.
Will keep looking to see if F40 is different from CB300 chassis.
Addendum - F40 is an incomplete MB400 chassis ... need to look for medium duty truck parts. NAPA and CarQuest has some stores/departments specializing in medium and heavy duty truck parts. Likewise, many towns have independent stores just for medium and heavy duty trucks.
Addendum #2 - MB400 with 4000 pound front axle uses a different part number. (Not DS1000!!)
