Google "Dodge HEI Conversion" and read/research what's involved. Then, decide for yourself.
If you decide to go this route, I won't be able to help you with problems ... I simply don't know enough to be of any help.
It really doesn't change anything for the most part. Just instead of going through the mopar ignition module and resistor, you go through a GM module.
The main difference is that it provides a full spark whereas the mopar setup gives you a reduced spark.
I couldn't fit the HEI coil in my doghouse, so I stayed with the standard.
