i have wriggled them to get a better connection. My connector seems to be "improved" with a screw by the previous owner. Improvising is the biggest problem of american cars in Europe.
I have found the connector for 54 €.
Thanks for the information about my rear axle. Dana 70 is IMHO a great differential. In the Dana 70 in my Ford E350 we have changed the bearings and the mechanic is very simple and solid.
I have used 75W-140 in my differential. Best hightemperatures properties
