How Tall is your Rig?

I am always cognizant of wandering off the beaten path and into a low bridge/overpass situation, so I've begun taking proper precautions to be sure this never happens. RV specific GPS, special iphone apps, trucker maps, paying better attention to signage, etc.

And, I needed to know the height of my rig, so that I am aware at all times of my limitations.

My Georgetown measured out at 12 foot 2 inches high.

Curious as to what your rig height is?

A good exercise for all.
  • My MH is 13.01, I set my GPS for 13.6 for the extra clearance on routings.

This is measured empty, with tires aired up.
  • 12' exactly.
but remember you may be taller when the road is not level, plus the sign may say how high the center is, but not the sides. Arch bridges has gotten many trucks.
  • A motorhome is MADE for the interstates! 75mph of relaxed and fun travel!

    Mine is 12'10".
  • My 5vr hooked up to truck.....13' 4"

We rarely travel Interstates. Majority of our travels are done on secondary/backroads.

    LOOK UP :B
