If blown out correctly, there is no problem with water pooling. Water can pool. As long as it can expand if frozen it will cause NO DAMAGE. The exception to blowing out is HYDRONIC heating systems. You CANNOT safely blow out a Hydronic system. You must blow out and then run a small amount of Non Toxic antifreeze thru the Hot Water Copper coil to ensure it cannot be frozen and damaged. Doug
