How to REMOVE ugly vinyl letters?

I have a Fleetwood Fiesta M/H. Fiberglass eterior. Love our coach. But this FIESTA logo has to go off the front of our M/H. It is just "Pure Ugly". I don't care about the ones on the side of the coach. This one on the front looks soooooooo UGLY. How can I safely remove this without doing any damage to the RV skin?

Glue has been removed but the area where the logo was did not fade from exposure to the elements.
  • I used a hand held clothes steamer to get some stickers off. Steam a little bit at a time and pull up slowly on the decal.
  • Hair dryer and finger nails for me. Or a plastic body filler scraper...but nails work better I think. Then turpentine/charcoal lighter to remove the glue. That camping world logo looks like the glue hasn't been removed yet?
  • I used a hair dryer to get the dumb dolphins off my coach.

As stated before a heat gun or hair dryer will work to get it off.
after it is removed you can get some goo be gone or some such stuff to get the left over glue off. They make a wheel that will take it off but they are very expensive.

But depending on how old and how long the decal has been on, it will leave outline where it was just like this one after the decal was removed.
    Good Luck

As high up as that is on the front of the RV I don't think a faint outline of the old lettering will be as bad as that gawdy blue "Fiesta" logo.

One would think Fleetwood would have considered a logo that was more classy looking. Granted, the Fiesta is not the high end of their line but Geeeeez why make it look so fugly on the front of the RV?

  • Maybe try a little heat and see if it will peal off...either a hair dryer or a heat gun.
