How to repair torn RV covers

Has anyone out here repaired a torn RV cover? I have a one year old Elements RV cover and found a tear L shaped 24" by 24" and because it is almost new would hope I can patch it and get a few more years out of it Thanks
  • If you have a dry-cleaners near by that does alterations, ask them if they could repair it. We had one re-sew our spare tire cover that was made of heavy vinyl and cloth. If not, you have learned something about covers, they don't last.
  • Another vote for awning repair tape.
That stuff is amazing. It's very strong, water proof and clear so it doesn't show much.
  • Online or at an RV or boat supply store look for the awning repair tape. It's designed to repair sail or awning material and holds up for a year or two

No we don't. Thanks I live up in the mountains of Ca close to Yosemite.
