The hinge comes as part of the DOME (correct term for the "lid"), if you get a genuine one.
I recently purchased a new one, mine was very hard, and very yellow, and I wanted new. Later I called Atwood to gripe about issues with the Ultra Breeze installation hardware design, and the woman told me about the lifetime warranty, you only have to pay shipping, but I told her mine was quite serviceable, just looked terrible. New one is much "softer" plastic and I like it a lot more. Plastic more similar to what is used on the Ultra Breeze hood.
Dome is riveted to the hinge. The hinge is attached to the base with four sheetmetal screws. You will probably have to dig out sealant to find them. Open dome about 1/3 of the way, remove the four screws, slide dome aft till the roller on the arm aligns with the large keyhole in the track and its off. Hinge comes with dome.
I found my base cracked thru a screw hole in the flange on the front, and then a corner broke off when I touched it. I replaced the base with a new one from RVvent.com it has 16 screws like all the new ones. My old one had 28 screws, so I had to redrill all of the holes. I did use stainless screws to hold it down. Atwood no longer sells bases so when the inventory at RVvent runs out, you will be stuck buying new fans.
