It may sound a little weird but when I had the same problem I measured the distance from the bottom of folded out bed to the floor,on each corner.
Then went to the bike store and got a Kickstand and found one that was close to the right size and cut it to size and bolted it to the bottom of the overhang.
Folded it out when I needed it then folded it back when I folded the bed back up.
Worked great and fit under the couch just fine. :)
