Thanks for the ideas! Thinking about the foot stool gave me an idea. I have limited space in my 26 footer so thought about why not use the folding camping step under it. It is easy to store , has flat surface for the overhang to sit on and the stool does have a 300 lb weight limit so it should hold up the overhang & an average size person. Thanks so much for the ideas!
