How to tell if Dometic REcall work performed
Is there any way to find out if the recall work on a Dometic Refrigerator has been done? The original owners widow has no idea and no paper work. It IS covered by the recall for fire issues. Thanks.

- Thank you! The work has NOT been done. Will have to see to that.
- Remove lower outside cover and see if there is new shielding around burner area.
This is one example of new shielding.......
Dometic Phone: 1-800-544-4881 - Contact Dometic and give them the model and serial number and they can tell you if the work has been done and the date and by whom it was done.
