How to turn off inverter. Solved for now.
Just dug my CC out of the snowbank and put it in the shop to see why I'm loosing power up hills. It's been in the body shop for a couple months, then got snowed in at home, and needs to run right before I head out.
So, once I unplugged it, got it to the shop and inside yesterday, I see that the inverter is on. I have one of those control pads that does everything, and it should be a simple matter of hitting the on/off button and it'd be off... NOT!
So I left it in the shop, turned off the electricity to everything inside, and had to leave it til I go in tomorrow morning to fill them in on how to access everything on the coach. Any ideas as to how to turn this danged thing off so it doesn't drain my house batteries?
Help Please.
Signature has coach type etc.
Made it to the shop, my Xantrex was still inverting and batteries were down to 45%. I turned off all the switches, looked at the inverter in the high back cupboard, no way to unplug that I couild find, so eventually resorted to (Unhooking the Ground, letting it sit long enough to reset, and re-hooking the Ground) Seemed to have solved the problem.
Thanx for all the quick replies... and yes, perhaps those -15 degree days have had some effect... but a solid +12 now... heat wave.
