I really don't care what you think you know. I have almost 35 years of installing and repairing HWH jack systems. I KNOW what I am talking about. I can get a defective jack to operate when extending and retracting. The TEST is to extend the jacks and let sit for a few days. When that happens the bad jack will usually fail to fully retract. AND, if under HWH warranty and this happens, HWH will send me a new jack. NO questions about how often it is failing. I don't know why people like to argue things when they have no knowledge about what they are talking about. Doug
